Hesnes Group is a Norwegian, family-owned company that is active in the fields of shipbroking, bunker broking, insurance broking, ship owning, and investing in real estate and financial assets.
Since the beginning in 1974, the founder, Pål Smith-Kielland, has been a pioneer in car carrier shipping.
The company has over the years introduced a wide range of shipping concepts. Today, the Hesnes Group employs a staff of around 30 highly dedicated and professional people and has a history of solid growth and performance, with a strong market position in its core businesses.
